For Skaters
Club ice is available September through March at Cabin John Ice Rink on Sunday mornings from 10:15AM-12:15PM. Punch cards are for sale on Entryeeze. Benefits of purchasing a punch card:
- Member discount per session through the season
- Early access to reserving sessions
In order to skate on club ice, you must be:
- A paying member of Washington FSC. This includes memberships like associate members, but does not include ones like parent voting membership
- At least at the preliminary MIF test level. We recommend having passed pre-preliminary MIF as a safety precaution
For Coaches
To coach on club ice, you must meet the following criteria.
- Completed and Passed Background Check
- Completed SafeSkate training
- Minimum of two positive skating references from coaches in good standing with US Figure Skating.
- Proof of liability insurance to be resubmitted annually.
- In good standing with Washington FSC.
- In good standing with US Figure Skating.
- Completed four US Figure Skating continuing education course in the most recent calendar year.
- Minimum 18 years of age as of July 1 in current year.
- Must be, at minimum, an associate member of Washington FSC.
- Must coach on club ice at least twice per season to maintain privileges.
